Blast from the past. Just dropped in to say hi! Surfing net came across your site.
Still living down Knysna way? Spouse and I have spent last two years travelling Europe in campervan. Currently Costa del Sol. Have adopted pack of dogs, so Spain likely to remain home for foreseeable future! All well and hope same goes for you.
Took a while for me to get to this cos I’m very busy with recording an album … what an amazing surprise [though not that you have adopted a pack of dogs .. campervan in Spain sounds good. We live on the weskus on a coastal lake and sail and canoe and walk a lot in the reserve next door. Go to CT every few months and see friends who don’t get to come up here. I have a small sound and video studio and make movies, write and record songs for a small following … very relaxed lifestyle. Still have an old steel cruising sailboat which may take us to the Caribbean or Med some day … life is good … and seems like for you too .. lots love to you both.

Currently in East Texas not to far from Austin the home of Gibson and Epiphone. A long way from Parkhurst and your place on the lake. Took a trip down memory lane past there when last in Jo’burg. Like Rick Nelson’s song ‘It did not look the same” then a beer at the Brass Bell which thank God had not changed. Tried to hook up with you when last in the Cape, ended up on the West Coast in Koekenhaap with some people preparing for the Africa Burn thing. Holy shit can’t believe that we are both on the wrong side of 65. Have tried to get hold of you for the last two years. Please contact me before we are both over seventy.
Incredibly nostalgic moment. Charles (who died many years ago, and I owned the Cul de Sac for a few years in the 60s. I now live in France after 20 years in London and have recently been talking to Jeremy Taylor who also lives in France. Still remember a corporate gig you did for CocaCola 100 years ago with “little Town of Bethlehem” to your own words. Can’t remember why I was there. Also been in touch with Kendrew Lascelles who is writing & producing plays in the States. We do visit Cape Town from time to time. Have an apartment near Gordon’s Bay.. Hope all is well with you. All the best, Fred
